What I don't understand (in a way) is how the hell you gain industry experience when every f'ing job required industry experience. Where do you start?

I mean if you have the degrees and the skills there's still a good chance you won't get the job without the experience.

    You can't win.

Thats why most people work for theirself for a while and make a few sample projects to show off to the potential employer. It won't matter too much how much experience you have if you have good, quality sample work to show off. If they still wanna know how many years tell them how long it took you.

Asking for all that at a board where we still get 'How do you compute the average of 10 grades?' type questions is ludicrous.

    Post that here:

lol I been off and on C++ programming for years I know all the basics, but I could never make myself learn the more advance stuff, and I am getting old!! Though I have just started a mail degree in Computing so I might get there one day, but I can't ever see myself being a games programmer. (I am not strong at maths) Hopefully I might become a good office programmer, better then nothing
