    Post Aeres seeking interested hoobyists!

    Hello.

The Aeres team is seeking interested C++ hobbyists. I say hobbyists, 'cause all our work is free and open source, atleast for as long as we can keep it that way
Our current project is running on the HGE engine and we mostly program games, but also other software.
You don't need to be a professional C++ programmer to join, infact I'll be asking you some questions and give you a task, to see your skill. This way you can atleast try, and see if you have enough knowledge of programming, to program games, it won't hurt to try
This is a great oppertunity for those who would like to try working on something with others, want to try making stuff but never get the ideas for anything and those who want to learn.

We would also like to have someone with web programming knowledge on the team! We purcheased a new domain and server, and are working on it, we have one web designer int he team but want a new one to make it faster and share oppinions and stuff
Required knowledge (html, jacascript, php) and if you know more, it would be even nicer ofc, I'm no web pro, so I dunno if some other languages can be replaced by those, but if you think you can do it, feel free to contact me!

We are also seeking artists, but this ain't the right place to search for them, but I just wanted you to know, incase someone is on here

Feel free to contact me contact me on [email protected]
Or just post on this topic, or PM me on these boards.

Oh and if our new site ain't up yet, you can always visit our old one on http://aeresteam.webs.com

    or our new one:

    Thanks for reading!

I've never worked with a game engine before, but if that doesn't matter, then I can make a time commitment...

Indeed. I was thinking the same thing.
C++, PHP, Javascript, MySQL are all in my arsenal, albeit PHP & Co not 100%.
Still, it can be something to sink my teeth into to do.
    Something...

Are you two saying you might wanna try joining the team?
If so, then you're more than welcome
But there's no regular payment, but if we earn money on something, and it's a large enough sum to share, then I gladly share it That's what being a team is all about, aye?
Anyways, hope to hear back from you.

I'd be the same way. I might be able to contribute some time and/or some music/graphics. At the very least, I'll design a few logos for you.
    Do as I say, not as I do . . .

Experimentation is the essence of programming. Just remember to make a backup first.
