    getting recommendations for LinkedIn

    Does anyone have or know anyone on Codeguru who has a LinkedIN account? I'm thinking it could help employers notice me if they see who I've had forum discussions with. If my discussions help anyone on the forum, that member can put a recommendation up on my LinkedIn account and employers can see it and it lets everyone know everyone.

    A bit too much copy and paste, I fear.

    The whole reason LinkedIn works is because people are (theoretically) extremely picky about their contacts. I'm on LinkedIn, but to be honest and perhaps a bit brutal, I orbit in a completely different galaxy than anybody who might beg for contacts on Cboard...

    EDIT: I realize my reply is kind of useless and annoying, so here's an actual useful piece of information... First make your real-life contacts. Yes, this is somewhat difficult. From there, you can jump into LinkedIn and start making other connections. That's how it works, and it works very well.

    Code:
    //try
    //{
    	if (a) do { f( b); } while(1);
    	else   do { f(!b); } while(1);
    //}
