Does anyone know of some sites where I could get some good sound clips of such things as:
explosions, missiles firing, guns firing, cannons firing, blood squirting, etc...
I cant find any...I will keep searching though...if you know of any post the site...

Try http://www.findsounds.com/ - it's a sound-specific search engine that will turn up practically anything.
Or you could get a shooting game and use its sounds.
I got the robot 'from lost in space' saying "Danger!, Danger!" for a warning in my program.
Civ2's sound is great... But you can't use it!
oooh, get the original doom sounds! you can extract them with the right tools. cool!
Also the Starcraft sound... But also, you can't use them because they are copyrighted!
