Subject:Win'98 Desktop.
Hello,
I have two drives on my computer "C" & "D."
Win'98 is on the "C" Drive; Win' XP-Pro on the "D" drive.
I've recently upgraded my graphics card from 32Mb, to 128Mb.
They are both Asus Nvidia GeForce cards. The install went O.K.; but
the Icons and everything else on Win'98 became very large, such that the
icons on the desktop are off to the right of the monitor.Everything is fine on XP.
This is what I have:"Display properties XP settings.Screen
Resolutions 800x600 pixels, Colour quality medium(16bit).
Win'98 Colours 16, Screen Area 640 by 480 pixels."
The new Card is:"ASUS N6200/TD/128 GeForce 6200 128Mb 64-bit DDR AGP 4X/8X."
How do I correct this?
Thank you.

Right-click on the desktop -> Properties -> Settings - adjust resolution and bits per pixel (expressed as "number of colours") until you have a setting that works with your monitor and you are happy with.
[It is more "fun" to do this when you actually can't see the screen because you've messed up in the driver-code, when developing the driver itself. After a few times of doing it, you get used to clicking a certain number of times on certain keys, etc, etc - mouse is kind of useless when you can't see what you're pointing at!]

Right , You installed the new Display card. And installed the driver on which OS XP or win98. It looks like u did that on winXP. Win98 doesnt have that driver and struggles to stay with the new display card. Install the new driver on win98 as well. Hope that should work out.
