Hi
I'm considering "upgrade" from Visual C++ 6.0 Professional to Visual C++ 6.0 Enterprise...
Does Enterprise has more features than pro?
Thanks!

I dunno, maybe visit the Microsoft website and locate the product comparisons?

That's not much of an upgrade. Might I recommend going further to .NET 2003 or 2005? Those at least have tolerable C++ standards conformance.

Yes.
..but you won't use them. ;)
I got an Enterprise version of an old piece of software and the extras were predominantly database servers, source version control and that kind of stuff.
It will not instantly turn you into a l33t pr0grmm3r, if that's what you're wondering. Professional versions are usually feature-complete from a single developer's perspective. If you're working with a bunch of other people, say, in a company, you would make use of Enterprise.
Hence it being called Enterprise!
More important would be the upgrade to (as Prelude said) .NET 2003 or 2005. Then look at Enterprise.
Yeah! I will have .NET 2003, but also side by side Visual Studio 6, but I was thinking keep Professional or Enterprise.Quote:
