DirectX app leaving mouse trail

I'm evaluating Discord Times. Seems an interesting game but I didn't have many options to fully evaluate it and decide or not to buy. The mouse cursor on my system leaves a trail on any still screen making it very difficult to play the game.

I seem to remember some command line switch that I could pass to any windows program to force it to use the default windows cursors. This fixed the problem on a few cases.
Do you know which? My searching on google has come up with nothing.

Also... isn't it odd that the only thing the author has to show is just that one page website? No support area, no forums, no nothing? Has anyone else tried this game?
