bacxkground picture or color vc++

Looking to add a bitmap picture to the background of my program. can you tell me a simple way to do this, remember i am a newbie.

Hey thanks, I do not know if this is good for what I am doing it in. I am doing it in a dialog in vc++. Can you tell me of any resources where I could find it for a dialog?
