are messages monitored before posting because i keep trying to post and it is only showing up one of my messages for new thread
am i doing something wrong

No, messages aren't monitored or moderated before they're posted. Most likely you're seeing some board lag.

Or the spammers - they get through :mad: , but don't last long :D
