way of organising you code

Hi everyone

I have been looking recently on the best way of organising writing a C++ code. some people using .h,.cpp and .cpp while others write all the code in one .cpp even if it has many headers and body code.
I just wondering what is the best way of formatting it, is it to put them in one .cpp or put the header in .h and the source code in .cpp

Part of the OOP philosophy is information hiding. This includes seperate compilation. Split up your program into .h header and .cpp files.

well, if I'm making a small project, I like to have everything in one place, but if i'm doing a biggun or an assignment for college, I think it's best to split into .h, .cpp and .cpp ...

If you have a really big project, splitting your program into multiple files makes it compile much faster (if you use make or something similar).
