please look they need help

I am in no way a rep of www.streetrod3.com but I am contributor urging any one who likes muscle cars and can program c\c++ to help its voluntary no pay and the game is free so at least check it out please.

sorry for the post being in the wrong place i posted that at school i didn't want to get caught. sr3 has been in the works for six years and has pretty good sized community it's in the beginnig stages because the leader didn't have time and finaly made it open source for the dev members and who ever want's the source code. they have 3 or 4 coders but more would be nice so they can getthe ball rolling a push is being made to do so and i'm trying to get more coders i my self am modeling. tell them cdoublejj sent you :D

I posted there. We will see what happens. I loved SR2 and would like to help with SR3 but internet projects are um.........well...........rarely completed.

bubba sr3 is going nowhere soon eeer it's not going to be shut down i'm a modler my self i hope to become a dev member.

I downloaded the exe and source and it's not too bad. Needs lots of textures, special effects, lighting, etc, etc. Some culling issues as well.

I don't know how much help I can offer since I'm a Direct3D guy and not OGL.

cdoublejj: i'm making a kick ass garage for sr3 looks just like the ld one but way better : )

It needs a lot of billboard effects like smoke from the tires and decal effects to put tire marks on the road. Also a 3D camera system would be nice during the race and/or a replay feature.

It is a good start but needs a lot of physics code, a lot of 3D code, and a lot more models, textures, etc.

there was a camera system must of taken it out it's in thearly stages that stuff is later the pysics are like ........ but i think you can still help if you know how to prgram menus and stuff
