Loading Icon ?!?!?!?
here im having probs loading my icon manually.

by the way this is a windows project and i do have the icon in my folder.

no, thats fine. in your resource file (Resource.rc) modify to add

in the beginning

Can the complier find the icon?
In the compiler the exe runs from a seperate folder (Debug). Try adding the icon to the Debug folder or set the path in the complier.
something like
".\\icon.ico"
"girl!.ico"
try without the '!' as this may be an invalid character.

this has been depreciated by LoadImage()
