I love it when programmers not only tell you what's wrong, but aren't afraid to give their applications a personality:

I'm confused because I can't find OpenOffice's user files.
Your ~/.sversionrc file tells they should be under /jshao/.openoffice/1.1.4,
but they are not. Please fix the situation manually.
You may want to edit ~/.sversionrc to indicate where is OO
installed, or remove it if you did remove your installation
directory manually (you bad one).

Don't encourage him. Posting system specs in a signature is one of my biggest online pet-peeves.Quote:

Wireless Optical Mouse, and Cable Internet.

You could probably find cheaper ones, I just quickly got the motherboard that got me closest to the target price.
I said exactly the same thing. Well I thought it at least. I have a spreadsheet - in the awesome OpenOffice.org - at it totals... *reads spreadsheet*.... £510.08. Wait, you're mostly from the USA, right? I guess that's about $1,000 USD? I'm not too sure.Quote:

Wow didn't know the price of amd 64 bit went down so much, haven't been paying attention much to them recently because of my new laptop. But the setup will still be around 600-800.
Well in case we still have non-believers, I uploaded the said spreadsheet to my site:

Complete with links and pricetags.
