7. Messages posted solely to increase post counts, SPAM, and other "pointless posts.One line posts are discouraged, especially pointless ones. Sometimes they are needed but rarely. Though things like "thank you’s” to people who help you with their code are always welcome.
8. Messages whose intent is to "Flame," or purposely insult or incite another person, or any portion of a post that "flames" will be deleted.
9. Tests/Quizzes and assignments - This board has no way of policing whether people are asking for help on graded assignment. We claim no responsibility for it. However, we discourage people from asking for help on graded work without permission of the instructor.
10. Please use code tags whenever you are posting code more than a line or two in length. More information on code tags can be found on the sticky on top of all forums (except the General Discussion board).
11. When posting code please do not post your entire program if you only need help with one function. Post as little as possible. People are much more likely to read small amounts of code and help you than they are to read a hundred lines of code.
12. Solicitation of any product without the consent of the Administration is forbidden. This includes, but is not limited to, products, websites, and organizations. Advertising for programming groups and jobs is allowed only on the recruitment board. (Please note the Recruitment Board rules.) Anyone with questions about this policy or who wants permission to post something of this nature PM me. Do not post requests for clicks on referrer links of any kind, including free iPods. This includes indirect solicitation such as linking to a website whose purpose in whole or in part is such solicitation.
13. Please read the board FAQ it contains the answers to many of the most commonly asked questions. It also contains information on proper netiquitte on this board. For other common questions please consult the FAQ Board, and for questions concerning the board itself, like how do I post, what is Private Messaging etc., checkout the VBulliten FAQ.
14. Users are allowed only one account unless they are given special permission to hold multiple accounts. Users may not share their account or password with others.
15. Playing with the emotions of CBoard members by announcing the death of James Bond actors is strictly prohibitied. Especially if they also had starring roles in The Hunt for Red October. Violators will be banned.
16. If you are depressed or suicidal, I strongly urge you to seek professional help or the counseling of an adult in your community. The message boards can be an unfriendly place, and though some will be sympathetic, others will not be, and you are unlikely to receive the support you deserve. All too often, these threads result in flames and hurt feelings and nobody feels better. These threads will receive a reply listing resources for help and will then be closed. At the risk of appearing to hold a double standard, the moderators will be allowed to practice some discretion; for long-standing members of the community, if a particularly traumatic event occurs, they should not feel as though they cannot talk about it in the community.
Some issues of netiquette to particularly note are:
1. Don't use all caps
2. Use descriptive subject lines
3. Do not put URGENT!, or NEED HELP NOW, etc. in your title; it will not make people look at it any faster. Doing this makes many old time helpers on this board not look at the post at all.

If you shoot an electric beam and pause and unpause the game many times with select just as the beam hits him he will take multiple hits.
I haven't beaten him without this exploit. :( It is so hard.
An excellent idea! Anybody seen Batman begins yet? I thought the story was pretty good, but all the fight scenes are so stupid - you just get shots of someone flying against the wall, and you just assume he hit them.Quote:
