how can i open many connections at the same time??
I've implemented timing out and the port scanning routine is fast but i have to make faster..is this the only way? should i use multithreading instead??

You can use a thread .. Check out www.gametutorials.com - networking section.. they got 5 tutorials explaining everything.. the last one is multiple connections :)
