bitmap.palette help

I want to choose a color pallet for my bitmap image. But I have no clue even how to make a color palette.

I know a color palette is composed of Red, Green, Blue, Alpha. And I know the class colorPalette but I don't know how to use it.

There was an article on MSDN about something like this (a paint program in .NET using C# I think), that may be worth looking at. I'll see if I can find it for you.

I found somtin about this type of stuff. It works differently than I thought it did but how do I make it so my project accepts unsafe code?

I gotta insert /unsafe somewhere. But where?
