Help!!!
Ok, I just finished programming my final project and when I build it in release mode it works fine on my computer... But when I go to run it at home or on any other computer it refuses to do anything. I double click on the executable and it does nothing... not even an error message!
What is wrong with it! I don't want to throw a year's work down the drain!

What kind of a project is it? What about running the debug build version of the program? You're not giving us much to go on.

It might be that the files logged on the other computers do not reconise the ones in your programs, im not certain, but it's a guess. I had the same problem once, and it was because my program was handling modules that called for instructions another computer or compiler did not understand

Ok, heres some more information.
I am using a couple Active X controls...
It is an MFC project.
I made the release version of the progam because I want to run it at home but as I said it just doesnt do anything. I'm not sure what is different between the computers... Maybe the activeX arent installs the same way or its looking for a file thats not there or something. I really have no way of knowing whats wrong because i dont get an error message.

If you compiled it with the "student" edition of the Microsoft compiler, then there is (IIRC) a clause in the licence which basically forbids redistribution (running it on another machine basically).
Or perhaps try creating a simple "hello world" application and see if that runs successfully as you move it from machine to machine.
