Is it possible to declare class variable members in the class constructor? My problem is that when an instance of the class is initialized, I have to call certain functions before declaring some of my adt's. Is this possible or should I be looking for a way around this?
What do the "certain functions" do? Are your ADTs data members of this class? What is the class designed to do and what is its structure like? You could possibly look into some static data members and static functions that you could call before you instantiate any objects of the class or the ADTs. Also, you may be able to call the "certain functions" in the constructors for the ADTs.
Well, I'm using the ClanLib library and I'm just experimenting with how to organize the data. I thought at first I had to call the initialize functions to then create certain variables. After a while of experimenting, I think I've found out that the class can not have a constructor. Oh well, thanks for posting.
