I've been reading some of those "LCD vs CRT" articles before i decide to replace my CRT with an LCD monitor yesterday. So i went to the shop and bought a nice\cheap 17" LCD and its working fine. I noticed some significant differences in the display though :
- The screen is much much brighter wich im not used to.
- images\text are a tiny bit fuzzy.
is this how LCDs supposed to display stuff?
and another thing .... a friend has told me that LCDs don't harm human eyes in any way , so i can use it 24/7 (even in dark rooms) without affecting my eyesight , is this true? I know that LCDs don't flicker wich means less eye strain but i don't know if eye strain has anything to do with eyesight.
In short words , are LCD monitors safe to use for a long period of time (like 5 hours in a row) ??
