You've heard of finals week crunch (or maybe not) but how about ...
Obtaining degree next semester crunch?
Ok you know in finals week, or the week before finals week, you start stressing out and grinding out every piece of make up work the instructor will let you get away with just to get that next grade up (or even pass in some peoples case).
Well who here has been through the if I play my cards right I can get my degree in the next semester crunch? I've had some crummy advisement councelors in my community college giving me all kinds of crazy/bad/uninformed directions for which course to take to obtain the degree I want--Asociate in Science, transferable to a University for Computer Science batchelors degree. Well I've finally got all teh information strait and I know what classes I need(ed) to get the degree. Fortunately (with no help from the councelors) I've stumbled my way into most of the correct courses I need to obtain the degree.
Well in order to get all the credits I need in the next semester so i'll graduate on time i've been forced into taking 7 classes this semester for a total of 20 credit hours. Heres the grand list
MAT220 (calc 2)
PHY116(physics 2)
COM225(public speaking)
PHI103(intro to logic)
PHI243(world religions)
CSC210(java 2)
CIS105(intro to webdesign)
So I shoulda registered before christmas break, but I've always been a procrastinator so It turns out I'm registering tommorow (school starts tuesday) and I'm gonna have a seriously jacked up schedual.
Any one else with a horror story?
*cheer*Yey degree next semester crunch.
