Emacs has got colors?
XEmacs is a very nice editor when you have it configured right. That might take a while like one or two days :) but when you've done it, it's really a very nice tool.

P.S.: Emacs has everythin' as long as you have the plugin ;)
The same goes for gvim, although I think the default .vimrc file has syntax highlighting enabled as a default.

VIM of course ;-))
VIM? I wonder how people can use that crappie =P
LoL, call me old fashioned, but I like console Emacs the best. Although, XEmacs is pretty cool.
Well, isn't it _a_bit_ confusing? ;)
I prefer nano, at least it doesn't take much space and is simple.
+1 for console emacs
I prefer gvim. I even wrote a syntax highlighter for GTK+
wich can be activated by :set syntax=gtk

Well, if you are talking about console emacs, it is not. It took me a couple minutes to become proficient in it. All you have to do is press f10 and you have your whole menu in front of you.
WORST. FLAMEBAIT. EVAR.
Some people (not me) like jed... At least it's colorful...
