getting inputs from other windows

hi

how can i make a program that gets keyinputs from any other window.
or can you by any chance get the keybords iput state.



note: i own my computer and have the right to do these things as the administrator, maybe i did wrong calling it a spytool on my previous thread, but you cant really call it that. dont tell me its illegal,
if microsoft didnt want people to make these programs they wouldnt, put different acces rights on different tasks or functions.
thats why the SDK exists!
ever heard of mastereye, we had this in our school. its a program that shows the admin what users do on their computers.

It does break forum rules, quite clearly. He wanted to make a keylogger. Something which is clearly used for breaching privacy, something which is incidentall, actually illegal (1). cgod tries it all the time and gets shut down every time. You may very well have the right to do what you want on your own computer, but that doesn't mean you have the right to do what you want on this forum (2).

Your question does not seem to have changed much. I won't drop the magic word that tells you how to make a keylogger, but if all you want to do is send messages between windows, then you will find the SendMessage function quite useful. Someone else posted a thread recently in which they posted source code capable of sending messages to Notepad. It was very simple and easy to understand. Check it out.

but i want my program to receive the inputs. you mean i can send a message to the window and get the key back from that window?

that is because i said before i was making a spytool whick was incorrect so i wanted to clearify that to you.
