profiles...how to i access them?

just registered and activated my account....i want to PM someone or look at their profile...says i dont have sufficient priviledges...how do i get these priviledges? id really like to PM or talk to these people outside the forum if possible....but cant find out ne thing unless i get to their profile...like id like to know if they have an AIM sn or something. Any help? thanks

You need to make a few more posts (10 IIRC).
This was implemented to discourage the "join and spam" brigade.
