How blind have I been
two days ago, a virus came into my computer and wiped out the MBR, so I had to format, now I have Windows XP and it's not so bad.. Well, the home edition is, but I have the Professional edition and I'm liking it.
By the way, I have a TV Video Card, does anybody knows how to view tv using any built in program in Windows XP?

Just a query Os.... could you have used "FDISK /mbr" to reinstate your master boot record......I had to use it once and its not too well documented......just curious.....

i tried, but fdisk /mbr didn't do anything. But anyway, it destroyed the partition, created a blank partition at the beggining of the disk and changed the partition type, it says that it became a BeOS partition, and I've never used BeOS. So, as you can see, my hard drive needed a format, and quickly
