linux shared internet
Here's the skinny, right now my server at home is running xp, it works fine, shared internet works fine, but I'd like it to be running linux for security reasons...plus I just like it better.
Anyway, I could set up shared internet easily, but how do I set it up so that any computer on the network can easily cause the server to dial up? (ie: allowing other computers to control this connection in xp) The clients will be running xp, thanks.

This is what I use.

That is, if you can lay your hands on any old machine with at least a pentium and 32MB of memory.
You basically leave it switched on in a corner somewhere and build your own LAN on the inside using whatever machine(s) you have.
Each connects to the internet just fine, be it Linux, XP, 2K or 98
