registering a domain
I am thinking about registering a domain name.
Particularly, I am wanting to register: www.crimsonblaze.net
I have some questions, however.
1. Is www.aplus.net a good place to register a domain name? At aplus.net I can register my domain name for 2 years for $14 or for 3 years for about $21. (I want to either do a 2 year or 3 year registration right now).
2. I have about 150 MB of server space on the BYU server. I already have a website which I make use of quite a lot sitting on that server space. As of right now I am using about 58 MB of that server space. How can I utilize a part of it towards this new website if I register the domain name? I saw something about parking and forwarding domains on aplus.net, not sure exactly what that would do for me.
And of course any other info would be appreciated. :)

The price doesn't sound bad. Make sure that they are putting YOU down as the domain owner and registrant. Some companies put themselves down and it can become a major pain in the arse if they do so.
After you register a domain you have to tell it what nameservers to use. The nameservers are what specifies the IP address and location of the domain, zones, subdomains, etc.

As I understand it, parking a domain is just reserving it and not doing anything. Forwarding domains just send the user to a different URL.
