printer gone crazy

About 3 months ago my printer got a severe paper jam which I was never able to get out.

Today my friend was able to get it out, so, happily, I have hooked my printer back up.

Expecting all to be all nice and dandy now, I was wrong.

My printer will not stop printing jibberish. Every time I place a piece of paper into the paper bin, it runs it through and prints out jibberish, whether I have told it to print something or not, it has a mind of its own and prints out jibberish anyways.

I went into the Printer Control Panel and made sure to cancel all print jobs, and then I rebooted, however, the printer is still going crazy.

Any ideas on a fix?

Buffer problem, I guess...
