Either GodTalk (tm) or US vs Not-US
" What good programming books do you recommend ? "
Anti U.S. threads, followed by clearscreen questions
How do I get a random number between x and y?
... or some other random number related questions.
I think it has to be religion.
My vote goes for "DirectX vs OpenGL"... not only do I see it too often, but they're almost always a haven for misinformation.

"Religion is for stupid-heads."
"No it's not!!!"
"Yes it is."
"No it's not. Says so in the Bible/Koran/Torah/Magic toilet water."
""
"God says he hates you."
x infinity.
Gotta be clear screen.
I think we also forgot the whole, "getch();"/"system("PAUSE");" issue :D
Political crap (war on iraq etc... may not be the most common but do seem to get the most replies), and C++/Java "Which language should I learn" questions.
"What is the most common post on cboard" posts :p
I voted DX vs. OGL, but after I voted I remembered that religion is the most discussed topic on this board.
I vote Microsoft Vs. World
It includes DX vs OpenGL and Windows vs Linux. Not to mention that it can come up in almost any thread
