2-D Side Scroller or 2-D top down

Which do you like to make better? Which is more fun to make?

I'm just curious on what the game programmers at Cprogramming prefer.

It depends on the game. I mainly like top-down games. Mainly because I'm an RPG freak, but action games (like deathmatch games) are awesome top-down.

Some games are awesome side scrolling though. Take Soldat or Worms for example. Or even Mario!
