Years ago my hero Zakk Wylde had his favorite guitar stolen. It was the guitar used while he auditioned for Ozzy and used in "No Rest for the Wicked" cd. It pretty much ment the world to him. It was gone for years and it's finally back in his hands!!! Great news!!!

[edit] On a serious note I remember Zakk Wilde had a side project band a number of years ago...quite good...kind of Allman Brothers/Skynardish rock stuff.....cant remember the name of the band....but they were pretty good
His current project's Black Label Society. I don't think they're anything special, but I'm sure our Zakk would disagree.Quote:

If you were refereing to if I was dead then no I'm not. The story can be found easily on Zakks webpage. It's www.zakkwylde.com (hard eh?) I find Black Label Society to be a great band. Zakk's definatly an influence to why I like them, but the music is my style. I'd call it more than a project also since they have been going over 5 years. Anyways it was missing for a long time, and was stolen along with another guitar at a gig in Dallas. It pretty much meant the world to him coming from his dead parents and making his career. Zakk's friends got a tip on where it was and hunted it down for him. I thought it was cool since it was stolen a long time ago.
Pride and Glory was a good one. That was their first album. My favorite one though would have to be Stronger than Death. Thats a great one. And if you don't really think this thread should be here I'll tell you I don't give a damn. It's something that means something to me and I shared it.
