HTML and IMG Codes

How come the HTML and IMG codes are OFF, and I can't change them??

I guess its to stop cheeky monkeys embedding javascript....

Then, why have it at all?

Also because the "cheeky monkeys" might mess up the whole board with invalid and screwed up code... I know *Michelle* would never do that :)
