Question with Winamp Library

I don't really know if this question can go here, but here it goes.

I have Winamp 2.95
I have added a directory to my library. now, whenever
I put a new file in the directory, how would i make it automatically
add it to the library ? (Every time I add a new file,
I am adding that directory again to get it listed in the library)


i don't want it to automatically add a file to the library when
i play it, but just want it to automatically update whenever
i add a new file to the directory i already put in the library.

I think you mean playlist when you say library, because the Media Library wasn't included until version 3 of Winamp.

Anyway, I don't think that there is any way of doing this. For one thing, it would require Winamp knowing whenever anything in the directory changed.

You would have to write a program that launched with winamp each time and updated it. It can be done, lookup "winamp development" or "winamp programming" on google. The source code to winamp is opensource on their website.

No, there is a "Winamp Library" in my version (2.95)
