ok look every one im haveing a little prob with DJGPP it wont work on my windows xp if any of u have had this problem plz come and help
i may be new by one day but ive already started to write little programs on my own so plz dont call me a noob cuz some day i might be better then u :D
If you can't get it to work, Dev-C++ is probably simpler to set up and use, and free for download. Search the web.
Visual C++ 6 pwns on XP! :p

What problem? "it won't work" isn't a particularly good description of the error, now is it?

When I run the program its starts up for a second then go to a black screen and back on to my desktop. Do you know whats wrong with it or why it wont work? Also I can't download any of those other compilers becuase im just to stupid to hit the right link to download it maybe if you posted the page the compiler download was on and walked me throught it i would get but i cant get it all by myself.
Maybe get a different version of DJGPP? Or install a different version of windows, on another drive of course.
Make sure it's not a hardware problem, before you get different software.
he's not talking about code, he means the actual prog.
