When saying "ill" you mean "ill people" ? If yes, we shouldn't blame Chrisstianity for those ills Christians. People choose their one path. As i stated previously many Christians don't do what God wants. The right sentence to use should be: if all Christians did what Cristianity wants no ill wouldn't have come of them( not of it ).

Christianity is perfect. Jesus was perfect and as a human was sinless. You have to read about Christianity and the work of Jesus ( and not only ) to understand this.

Well, I'm not religious. The difference between us is that I am fine with the knowledge that it is impossible to have an answer to everything. I don't need to pretend there is perfection where none exists.

Uh huh... Your contradicting yourself again. You shouldn't blame Islam for the paths particular people choose to take.

As for the 'root' of the problem, I think it isn't any one religion, but the concept of religion - an irrational set of beliefs which people refuse to compromise.
