Face recognition...
Hi,
I'm currently developing a face recognition system which will detect and extract human faces detected within a larger colour picture. This is as part of a larger project which should be able to identify the people in a picture by analysis of their facial features.
I'm looking for a large collection of digital colour images of people's faces, which are as diverse as possible (i.e. different sizes, layouts, nationalities, skin colours etc.), with which I can train and test the detection part of this system. If anyone knows of such a collection of images, I'd be very grateful.
Thanks,

If you use the Google image search, you should be able to find a bunch of pictures... it might be easiest just to look around on the internet for group shots and such.

Most of the people are ugly, but there are a lot face-pictures.

I don't understand. These people have to know they're ugly. Why
are they putting their pictures on the internet? The internet is a
mean, rough, unforgiving place. You have be tough to survive out
here... tough like me. They're just going to feel bad once they see
their score. I try to help out and give the ugly people 10, but
when three thousand people had already given them a 2, that
10 that I gave just doesn't help their average.
I also give the pretty people a 1. How dare they? They're so vein.
"Look at me, I'm pretty, and I know it!!!"

*whistles innocently* So, ethic, what's the address of your picture, and what's your score? :D
