I'm a bit bored w/ all the texts to read and those exercises to get finished. Think its time for some refreshments.
So, do you guys here play games?
I'm thinking of replaying Myst 3 : Exile, I finished for the first time more than a year ago.

I'm not playing any games atm, but I do play ROMS whenever I can, and other stuff you can play on emulators. I play rpgs only, I'm really big into the whole fantasy thing. Hate futuristic rpgs though.
I'm playing all the Tomb Raiders as I'm in the process of buying every one ever released for the PC, retail box and all(triangle box, if it applies). Other than that, I'm similar to SourceCode. I play mostly ROMs and emulators. I, however, like a wider category of game styles.

But I watched my housemate play Resident Evil : Code Veronica X last week, it's ok if I watch. I don't feel AS guilty that I am not programming.
I think I bought and completed 30 games last year, this year only Never Winter and Vice City.. unfortunately there are a couple of corker RPG's coming out in the next couple of months so maybe.. NO.. MUST - FINISH - GAME....
The last game I played was EverQuest or Quake 3 Arena, can't remember.
Morrowind, Shadowbane, and of course, Battelfield 1942 (I'm Dick Manslam, Pacquito Tacquito, or Big McLargehuge)
Battlezone II (Patch 1.2): Forgotten Enemies Mod (Part 2; Multiplayer Revision C)
It has to be the greatest game ever. Combining base strategy with unit strategy (different units/weapons for different situations) plus 3D first person action (you drive your units).
The game came out in 1999 but the graphics are stunning! The FE mod just boosts the graphics tenfold. Multiplayer games are fun like heck and there's always a server up for you to play (you can host your own too). In multiplayer there's team play, MPI (humans vs. computer), deathmatch, capture the flag, and race.
With FE, there are 4 races, 50+ units, 120+ weapons (including the morphed states), over 20 single player missions in the original game, 19 in FE, tons of mods available, and hundreds of multiplayer/single player maps.
You can check out the graphics of this game on a lower-end machine here. BTW, all the screenshots taken in this site were outside the cockpit with no HUD (heads up display gui). The red "laser" on some of the pictures is where the player is looking at. These are the single player FE campaign walkthroughs:

lurks. I suck at this game. I can't even win when I cheat.

Currently playing Enemy Territory, it's a blast.

I just started playing morrowind and bought the bloodmoon expansion also. I've got a lvl 10 character and I'm currently directing the mining colony, just getting started, but its fun. I was running through the tundras and this berserker mage attacked me and I killed her and looted and found a dagger that deals 10-20 damage and deals 10 damage every second for 10 seconds. It freaking rocks!

I'm not sure why but recently I've started to fall back to CS addiction. I've left CS for quite some time only to start back after having a casual game with my bunch of friends at the nearby Cyber Cafe. I felt the desire to fire again!
Mmm. . . Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast and Escape Velocity Nova. Can't wait till it comes out for Windows so I can stop playing it on my brother's computer. . .
I like the whole lightsabor slashing thing but personally AC 3 is more fun.. I just wan't it online, maby the next version;)

You know their trying to ban games where you get to beet the #&!^ out of cops :D.. I see there point but I think it's rediculous. Freedom of the press, and vedio games aren't the cause of vilence(There are studies done).. It would take an idiot to try to mimick a vedio game anyway:confused:
I guess such games promote violence, which is already too much on tv...

I am about to start a new game in Chrono Cross again. I haven't played that game in over a year.

Oh, and on a sidenote: As there are only US servers, the game is not officially on the shelves in germany. People are paying up to 200$ for it on ebay. I ordered it from the states and including international express shipping ( ordered friday, received monday morning ) and european taxes of 14.x% I only paid 100$ for the collectors edition. I already thought of buying 5 or so and selling them on ebay. Some people must be real idiots.

Has anyone seen the 500 Mb Full Spectrum Warrior E3 Movie? It's a squad-based light-infantry urban combat game developed in part for the US Army. That game looks like it will rock! It has some elements reminiscent of Ghost Recon. Not playing anything at the moment but waiting for some games to come out, Half-Life 2, etc...
I'd like to try a massively multiplayer game, but I don't have a steady income to pay the monthly fees. Otherwise I'd probably already have Star Wars Galaxies, and Planetside. They both look amazing.
Playing Uplink: Hackers Elite:rolleyes:, always Halo, Max Payne, oh and this nice little game called fix the family computer that sOMEone broke. Damnit, I'm going to go to my batcave. So there, that's my $0.0199999.
