Win98 Won't shutdown...
I'm going to work on a computer after work today and one of the problems is that it won't shutdown correctly. Also MS Money will not run correctly... I'm not worried about that one because I can probably just reinstall it and be ok.
But I've never had a computer that wouldn't shutdown correctly... has anyone else experienced this and what did you do to solve it?

Well, what happens? Does it throw an error or just not go anywhere when you hit shutdown?

Well, that's the part that sucks... I haven't actually been there yet and I don't know. I have a feeling it starts to shutdown and then just hangs... at least that's what I think according to what I've been told so far.

damn you're good Hammer :D
I'll see if that fixes it and get back to y'all.

bah... what a waste. I get there and he says "it's been working better lately"... but I went ahead and installed the supplement from one of the links Hammer gave me so it's sure to work from now on. (It worked fine 3 times while I was there).
Then they had another problem... MS Money wasn't working. So I went to start it up and there was a message that came up and said "Windows Security is compromised" or some BS like that... and then on the same message box there was a link that said "fix this problem"...
yeah, you guessed it, i opened it, followed the instructions that told me to re-register a dll and badda bing, it worked. Easiest 20 bucks I've made in my life ;)
