Dear all,
can anyone recommend a download for a windows based c-compiler (but not miracle C), which has the normal libraries and functions. I tried Borlands C++ download, but my DOS knowledge isnt very good. Perhaps ashamed to say I'm young and am windows through and through! sorry....;)

Thanks, I have tried Digital mars, and it is ok! I mean, even I can use it without much hassle. It also has a 16-bit DOS converter add-on as well, which is pretty cool. Cant seem to find a debugger yet though, and I am still using Notepad as an editor: it's ok, but not very pretty: even though Miracle C was fairly poor in its function library, the nice editor window with colour coded syntax indicator was quite helpful...
GCC is a nice free C-compiler.
