ok i know yous are all c programers so am i but i need to know if any one can help me i want to make a stand alone visual basic program and then make an exact replica in c to see if i can do it wat i need to know is how i can compile my visual basic source to an exe plz help
I think in the File menu there is a menu option called "Make EXE" or "Make yourprogram.exe"

Yes it does, and if it doesnt then you've got more problems then vb :P
there is no version 7... unless you're talking about .NET... but there should be an option under File... called "Make YourAppName.exe..."
Since .NET followed the 6.0's its often referred to as 7, both in vb and c++.
