Anyone know where I can get a free IDE for C++ for my Linux box, (Red Hat if you're wondering) or is there one already built in?

I prefer vim and gcc though.
Sorry, I should have been more specific. I need a free C++ IDE for KDE. Anjuta wouldn't install...
How about kdevelop then?
haven't used it much myself but it seems ok.
I think theres a Linux port of DevC++ too.
Just install it, I think it should be in rpm format.Quote:

My RedHat, anjuta is installed by default.
But I prefer to vim and gcc/g++ at console.
what about emacs?
AFAIK, Anjuta is for GNOME.Quote:

That makes no difference at all. You can run Gnome apps in KDE, and you can run KDE apps in Gnome. Hell, I don't use KDE *or* Gnome, and I run Quanta (a KDE app) and Galeon (a Gnome app). You just need the appropriate libraries installed.Quote:
