gamecube emulator
Hey, I think this would be appropriate to put in a programming forum.
I was searching around, and found this website that said they made a gamecube emulator. I know that there is a popular one that people have downloaded that is really a virus, but i downloaded this one, installed it, and then ran a full norton scan. No viruses found.
Anyhow, I'm skeptical as to if this really works or if its fake. I can't be sure though because I don't own any gamecube games.
Could someone that owns a gamecube try this out and tell me if it works or not? thanks, and here is the link to the info and download page for it:

You want us to risk infecting our computers with a virus so that you can tell whether a product is fake or not, which is information you will never use as you own no gamecube games?

Whoa, whoa, slow down partner. Please only reply if:
a) You have some useful information on the topic
b) You installed the program and have tried it out

Well the companys that make consol games create emulators so it is an easier development. Many of these are stolen by blackhats and redistributed through the world of warez.

munkey: thats not always true.. a lot of emulators are built just because the coders want to have some fun :).
i havent downloaded an emulator yet that had a virus ..

I didnt say all of them are done like that. I said simply "many".
