Downloading Linux
I have win 98se, and every ftp client i have tried has either froze my computer, or i have not been able to find out how to download from an ftp site. Is there an intuitive ftp client that is free and doesnt freez your computer?
I need an ftp client because i believe that IE and Netscape both download in SCII and i need binary.

I am not running any software firewalls, although there may be one in my linksys router.

the mandrake servers are very full, try downloading durring off hours and multiple times on multiple servers. I also belive that these ftp clients are not supported and will have to be done using your browser, I belive that netscape and mozilla won't work but IE will. Ironic

I've never had any problems downloading ISOs from ftp sites with IE, mozilla, galeon, netscape, or any other browsers I've used.

I am using Leech ftp, and just leave it downloading all the time. If someone complains about their internet being slow, I like how i can set a "speed limit" unlike with a browser.
