anyway, i have installed my game. after few days, my computer infested by virus. games files also have been infested. i have cleaned those virus. i realise that folder.htt appear on the current game folder. it's impossible this file should be game file actually, it's related to HTML files. any comment? it it save to delete it ?
htt files are hypertext template files, it is not a virus, do a search for them on your machine - i have 23 .htt files
it's impossible allocate at my warcraft folder and commandos2 folder. so how about other folder??? it's didn't have any of it on other folder... so?

folder.htt is very important file in explorer environment.. windows' explorer reads folder.htt to show you a explorer window. For eg: If you customize a folder and place a picture in folder's background... the information will be stored in the related folder.htt
yup ... actually, i have check this folder by search. you see, even there's 2 type of folder.htt ...
1 - folder.htt
2 - FOLDER.HTT : this folder could be created by virus.
and then, i have checked some of CERTAIN FOLDER, there's only a filename called FOLDER.HTT.
install and run a decent virus scanner

there is no real evidence that this a virus, does your machine show any symptoms of a virus, go to mcaffee online - you can do an online virus check of your machine
i have check for virus on my computer by scan online from housecall. it's shown that there's virus and i have cleaned it already. hmm.... i guess that files is infested by HTML virus actually.Quote:

sorry to burst your bubble dude but there's no such thing as an html virus.
If you have windows 2000/xp then run task manager and see what processes are running, you might be able to find suspicious files that way.
If you have 9x then run the program inside the zip i've included (it's a 9x version of xp task manager) to use it unzip it, launch the program, click find window, then click process viewer.

did you hear HTML files invested by certain virus? it's new virus actually. this is happen on this year actually. u may need to check of the latest virus details nowdays. ;)
