I should of mentioned that I searched quite a bit
on this topic and came up with very little.
What I did come up with is old dos code (dos.h)
So if someone could help , rather than pointing to a search
engine because he or she did not know either, that would be
great.

3) Five seconds with google gives me a pdf on BIOS interrupts in C.
Surely if I can dig that out in five seconds, you can find more in "quite a bit" of searching.

If you wish to read the question you can.
My question does not deal specifically with
bios interupts as to where I read you wouldn't
use an interupt to read the cpu temp from cmos.
I found many articles on bios interupts but NONE
dealing with cpu temp.
