tile colliision detection problems

hi,

I am trying to make a small tile game with opengl but am having problems.

If i move the player a full tile at a time i can get it working perfectly. its when i try to implement smooth scrolling that the problems occur. I have no idea how to beat this problem, which i am sure is easy!!!:(

If someone could check out my collision detection routine and maybe give me some hints and tips, i would greatly appreciate it!

I just finished a tile detection program, but it was a dos program in mode 13h. Anyways, may be I can help. What problem are you having when you try to animate movement? I will check out your code when I have time. Im using my work computer and we have no download access. Let me know a little more and I'll see if I can help.
