Although, realistically Windows is the way to go, I enjoy programming DOS more.
I'm programming neither right now, though.
You know what... scratch what I said earlier... I'd appreciate it if you wrote opinions as well; only if you want to.
I'm programming in anything i can understand...HTML4EVER!!....
but scince i am going to college for windows, thats what i voted.

uhh both my xp and my 2k have dos brother
i member some of that in win2k but i never, ever, had a single problem running any dos game in XP, includ'n some of those mentioned.
IF i'm writing a program that is usefull or serves and actual purpose, I use the win32 api. If I'm just testing out something new that I've learned or something, I use a plan console app (oh wait, thats not dos ... hrm ... I dont know anybody who programs in dos especially as xp/2k dont support it)
dos programming for now. But I'll be getting into windows. Can't wait :)

None of them.
then what are you programming?
Currently I'm on a project where we use OS-9000, an OS which I think is used mainly in embedded systems.
