How can i set color of Background in Program.

I wanted to know how can i set the color of background in a program which do not change in the complete execution of Program... ???????

Is this in consolse? Windows App?
What compiler are u using?

Implementation is different for different OS's and compilers...

I am using Borland Turbo C complior.... help
