I've had Y! Messenger really screw up my old computer, so I no longer trust the actual Y! client.

Yahoo! Messenger is a bit buggy, I'll admitt.

I've been using it for over 3 years and it never harmed my computer <thankfully> :)

The older ones were buggy but version 5.0 was great but I got 5.5 now which isn't really good because it doesn't automatically log you into mail, games...etc and that's why I want version 5.0
