the glass is half full when it is in the process of being filled.
the glass is half empty when it is in the process of being emptied (wheather into a human/animal or not).

because i have just settled them all.
thank you, i'll be here all week.
I appreciate your problem solving abilities. I will refer to you in the future.
well, what if the glass is somewhere between full and empty, but the liquid level is remaining constant, the glass being neither filled nor emptied? what then, answer man?
I believe that in that case, it will depend on whether the glass was filled and then emptied, or whether it was only filled to that point, without any emptying.
"the glass is half empty when it is in the process of being emptied (wheather into a human/animal or not)."
Well in my opinion the glass can never be half empty, since empty divided by 2 (or in other words "half") would be 0/2 which=0. So that glass is always half full (1/2)....just my way of seeing it;)
Bloody thing didnt log me in...
Hmm, still not working...strange. Maybe something with the updated forum (or whatever was happening over that last few days)

Yeah? Well, I've got a problem with you buddy! ... jk :D
The glass contains water - whether or not you deduce that it is half full or empty is of no consequence.

In the state described, the water is evaporating hence the glass is in the process of emptying.
