How do you tie your shoes? do you
1. Do you use the two loop system, and then make the knot using the two loops or
2.The one loop system, where you make one loop and use the other lace, to go around the first, and make the knot that way.

i use the two loop one, it's more esier
I use number 2, but now that I think about it, I'll try out number 1. It'll save me tons of time.
I forgot to mention, I also use the two loop system.
For me, all depends on the length of the shoe laces. If long, 2-loop, otherwise, make one longer and use the loop on it, and the shorter one is the loopless :) .
[edit]
In general though, once you tie your shoes once you don;t need to do it again, just slip on/pull off.

One loop rules.
All others are wannabees. :D
2 > 1
2 requires more memory than 1. A BAD thing.
Memory is cheap nowadays. Speed and performance is king.
its all about the 1 loop system. come on people, get with it. ;)
considering the rather limited intelligence capabilities of the average shoelaces (and the shoelace-tiers, too). i stick to the one loop system. it gives me an extra second to do the stuff i hate doing :DQuote:

The one loop system, or 2 for that matter, requires both of your hands. The only thing I can think of that can be done while tieing your shoes....is swishing mouthwash around inside your mouth. You must be talented, or I must've missed something.
you all suck. I take a stick and tie a two half hitches around it.
no no no...if youre gonna do that, then just go ahead and do a bowline....or even a square lashing if you have to...
Or you can make an ice splice, or tie a larch's head around them. THEN you can make a square lashing. However, I would rather make a floor lashing, and tie three sticks together.
